My name, David!

My name means “beloved” in Hebrew, which is its origin, although I don’t feel very beloved. The reason David McFeeters means beloved is probably from their king David. He was the second greatest king of Israel and was the beloved king of his people. I want to be like him, become powerful, be liked by everyone I can “control”, and be remembered in history. I like my name because it’s harder to make fun of than other names like; Phillip people can say Phillipa, John Joan, and Conor to Connie. I also like it because it’s easy to pronounce. I don’t like my name because it’s so common, a David here, a David there, you get the idea. I was named David because it’s my dad’s middle name.
